Application Instructions for License to Sell Firearms

STEP 1: Download, complete, and print an APPLICATION

STEP 2: Make a photo copy of your Federal Firearms License (FFL)

Make a photo copy of your valid state issued Photo ID

Make a $57.00 Check payable to The Lycoming County Sheriff's Office

STEP 3: Mail your completed application, copy of your Federal Firearms License, copy of your Photo ID, and $57.00 Check to The Lycoming County Sheriff's Office at 48 West Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701

OR

Take your completed application, copy of your Federal Firearms License, copy of you Photo ID, and $57.00 Check to The Lycoming County Sheriff's Office

STEP 4: If you mailed your completed application, copy of your Federal Firearms License, copy of your Photo ID, and $57.00 Check, in you will be contacted to schedule an appointment to come into the Sheriff's Office to receive your License to Sell Firearms

If you take your completed application, copy of you Federal Firearms License, copy of you Photo ID, and $57.00 Check directly to the Sheriff's Office, it will take approximately 30 minutes to process your application and issue you a License to Sell Firearms

For Valid Federal Firearms Licensees

To ensure your application is processed in a timely manner, we suggest you submit the application prior to the expiration of the license
