Safe Kids PA Lycoming County Partner

The Lycoming County Coroner's Office chairs the local Safe Kids organization, which is a local partner of Safe Kids Worldwide, and rides under the Lycoming County Health Improvement Coalition.  Safe Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing child injuries and deaths in our community.  We identify risk factors for our specific communities, and with the support of local statistics and current events, we create educational materials and programs to provide the public with information.   We participate in various programs, including public safety fairs, bike rodeos, health fairs, school events, car seat bounties, car seat checks, and others!  We are funded strictly through grants and donations, and have provided Lycoming County with car seats, cribs, pack n' plays, bike helmets, carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, and more.
